Regional AGM

Dont forget Regional AGM in Gleneagle Hotel Killarney on Wednesday next 25th . All are welcome.

A very enjoyable and sucessful meeting was held in Killarney. Among points  drawn up was  that we should look for an increase in the old age pension as we have not had an increase for many years in spite of the cost of living rising all the time. Some one else commented on why we should all bear the brunt of the increase in cost of wine because of the few who over indulge. Maureen Kavanagh looked for ideas to increase funding.
John Noel informed us that the Health and Wellness festival will be held in Mallow this year in conjunction with the Home and Garden show on 5th, 6th and 7th June at the Racecourse. The Show will be opened this year by Anne Doyle former newsreader in RTE.

MAR 19TH BY TRAIN AND BUS TO ST MEL’S CATHEDRAL LONGFORD

APR 28TH 3 NGT TRIP TO SLIGO STAYING AT YEATS COUNTY HOTEL  AND VISITING LISSADELL HOUSE AND BALLROOM OF ROMANCE AT  GLENFARNE FOR AFTERNOON OF MUSIC AND DANCING ( JOE ENRIGHT)

TVE 3 will welcome us to Ballroom of Romance and televise the dancing. There will also be a live band.
